The After-Argument Game. For two people who just argued and want to stop going in circles.
Not therapy. Not a lecture. Not about who’s right. Just a better way to talk it out.
How it works
One device. Take turns.
Some answers are private, some you reveal together. You’ll guess what each other is thinking, say your piece out loud, own your part, and make a plan for next time.
Your guide
Meet Calm.
The Calm It Out Dude. Headphones on, zero drama.
He tells you whose turn it is, keeps things chill, and reminds you to breathe when it gets spicy. He’s on both your sides. (Rukus can’t stand him.)
The troublemaker
Meet Rukus.
Rukus is the argument itself.
The tone. The hunger. The “you always.” He lives for misunderstandings and loves it when y’all go in circles. He’s not either of you. He’s what you’re up against.
And he can’t stand Calm. Calm keeps y’all way too chill, and chill people don’t give Rukus anything to work with.
vs.
You two vs. Rukus.
Every round you finish knocks him down. You win together or not at all.
You’ll walk away with a breakdown of what actually happened and a plan for next time.
How deep do you want to go?
Pick together.
Not sure? Start Quick. You can always do the Full one next time.
A quick note
This game is for better communication and understanding, not unsafe situations.
This game is for two people who actually want to make it work. If you came here to collect evidence, wrong app.
You’ll be using one device, so get comfortable handing your phone or tablet to your partner until the game is over. If that part makes you nervous… we’re not going to say anything. But we noticed.
This game is for everyday relationship conflict between two people who both feel safe participating. If there have been threats, intimidation, physical violence, coercion, or either person feels unsafe, do not use this game to work through it alone.
Who’s playing?
Add your names so the game can say whose turn it is.
First names only. Both are needed so the game knows whose turn it is.
Not together yet?
Edit the message below if you’d like, then send it to your partner. When you are both calm and ready, sit down together and play on one electronic device.
Someone’s at an 8 or higher. Pushing through right now usually just starts an argument about the argument.
Take 20. Walk, breathe, grab some water. Don’t spend it rehearsing your comeback.

How to play
One phone. Two people. Nobody wins alone.
That was the warm-up.
You checked in, agreed on the rules, and broke the ice. The real conversation starts now: telling your side, guessing what it was really about for each other, finding the loop you keep getting stuck in, owning your piece, and leaving with a plan and a written breakdown of what actually happened.
